General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country or state of residence.

Article 1 – Purpose and scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern distance sales of jewelry concluded on the online store Céleste Bijoux (celestebijouxshop.com) between the seller and any customer acting as a consumer residing in France, in another Member State of the European Union, or in the United States.

The customer declares having read and accepted these Terms before placing an order. The applicable Terms are those in force on the date of the order.

Article 2 – Seller identity

Kelis Naulot EI (sole trader), trading as Céleste Bijoux
Address: 525 rue des Macareux, 29280 Plouzané, France
Email: Celestebijouxstore@gmail.com
SIRET: 793 517 921 00045

Article 3 – Products

The essential characteristics of the jewelry (material, dimensions, finish) are shown on each product page. Photographs are as accurate as possible; slight colour differences may occur depending on screens.

Products are offered while stocks last. If an item is unavailable after ordering, the customer is informed without delay and refunded in full within 14 days at the latest.

Article 4 – Prices

Prices are shown in euros (€) for customers in France and the European Union, and in US dollars (USD) for customers in the United States, including all applicable taxes. For orders shipped to the United States, any customs duties are calculated and shown at checkout. Delivery costs are shown before final confirmation of the order. Products are charged at the price in force when the order is confirmed.

Article 5 – Orders

The customer selects items, checks the details and total price of the order, corrects any errors, then confirms the order with an obligation to pay. The sale is concluded upon payment confirmation. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the customer.

The seller may refuse or cancel an order in case of non-payment, proven fraud or an unresolved prior dispute; the customer is then refunded in full.

Article 6 – Payment

Payment is due at the time of ordering. It is made using the secure payment methods offered at checkout (Shopify platform). The seller never has access to the customer's bank details.

Article 7 – Delivery

Orders are delivered to France, to countries of the European Union and to the United States, at the address given by the customer.

Orders are prepared within 1 to 3 business days, then delivered within 4 to 10 business days depending on the destination country (3 to 8 business days for the United States). In any event, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract.

In accordance with Article L216-4 of the French Consumer Code, the seller is responsible for proper delivery: the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the customer when the customer takes physical possession of the goods. If a parcel is lost or damaged in transit, the seller will send a replacement or issue a refund.

If the delivery deadline is exceeded, the customer may, after requesting the seller to deliver within a reasonable additional period, terminate the contract by email if delivery has still not taken place (Articles L216-6 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).

The customer must provide an accurate and complete delivery address. For more details, see our Shipping Policy.

Article 8 – Right of withdrawal

8.1 Period. In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days to withdraw, without giving any reason and without incurring any costs other than those indicated below. This period runs from the day the customer receives the goods (or the last item, in case of separate delivery). The same 14-day period is granted to customers in the United States.

8.2 How to withdraw. The customer notifies their decision before the period expires:

  • either via the online withdrawal function, available at any time from the “Withdraw from the contract here” link on the website, by confirming their statement with the “Confirm withdrawal” button;
  • or by email to Celestebijouxstore@gmail.com, by means of an unequivocal statement or the model form below (its use is not mandatory).

The seller sends the customer, without delay, an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (email).

8.3 Returning the goods. The customer returns the goods no later than 14 days after communicating their decision, to the address given in the acknowledgement of receipt. The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer. The customer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (for example: jewelry that has been worn, damaged or returned incomplete).

8.4 Refund. The seller refunds all payments received, including the original delivery costs (except for supplementary costs if the customer chose a delivery method more expensive than the standard one offered), no later than 14 days from the day the seller is informed of the withdrawal decision. The seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back or until the customer has supplied proof of having sent them, whichever is earlier. The refund is made using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise.

8.5 Exceptions. In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • jewelry made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised (for example, engraving);
  • jewelry supplied in sealed packaging (in particular earrings) which has been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

8.6 Model withdrawal form (complete and return only if you wish to withdraw from the contract):

To Kelis Naulot EI – Céleste Bijoux, 525 rue des Macareux, 29280 Plouzané, France – Celestebijouxstore@gmail.com:

I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract of sale of the following goods (*):

– Ordered on (*) / received on (*):
– Order number:
– Name of consumer(s):
– Address of consumer(s):
– Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper):
– Date:

(*) Delete as appropriate.

Article 9 – Size exchanges

If a piece of jewelry does not fit (too large or too small), you may, within the 14-day withdrawal period, request an exchange for another size, subject to availability, by contacting us at Celestebijouxstore@gmail.com. This option is in addition to your right of withdrawal and does not replace it.

Article 10 – Legal guarantees

All jewelry sold benefits, at no extra cost, from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). Jewelry received damaged or defective is covered by these guarantees: contact us at Celestebijouxstore@gmail.com, with a photo if possible.

Legal guarantee of conformity. The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only needs to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared. The legal guarantee of conformity obliges the professional, where applicable, to provide all updates necessary to keep the goods in conformity. It entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience. The consumer may obtain a price reduction while keeping the goods, or terminate the contract and obtain a full refund upon returning the goods, if: the professional refuses to repair or replace the goods; the repair or replacement takes place after thirty days; the repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer; or the lack of conformity persists despite the seller's unsuccessful attempt to remedy it. The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or termination of the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination; the consumer is then not required to request repair or replacement first. The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor. Any period during which the goods are unavailable for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the goods are returned in working order. These rights result from Articles L217-1 to L217-32 of the French Consumer Code. A seller who obstructs in bad faith the application of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (Article L241-5 of the French Consumer Code). The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund upon return of the goods.

Article 11 – Liability

The seller is automatically liable to the customer for the proper performance of the obligations arising from the distance contract (Article L221-15 of the French Consumer Code). The seller may be exempted from all or part of this liability by proving that the non-performance or improper performance is attributable to the customer or to force majeure.

Article 12 – Personal data

The customer's personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. Its processing is described in our Privacy Policy.

Article 13 – Intellectual property

All content on the website (texts, photographs, logo, design) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction without prior written permission is prohibited.

Article 14 – Complaints and consumer mediation

For any complaint, the customer can contact customer service at Celestebijouxstore@gmail.com.

In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, if a dispute remains unresolved after a prior written complaint to the seller, the customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The name and contact details of the competent mediator will be specified here once Céleste Bijoux has joined a mediation scheme; in the meantime, the customer can contact us by email.

Article 15 – Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. This choice does not deprive a consumer residing in another EU Member State or in the United States of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country or state of residence. In the event of a dispute, the consumer may bring proceedings, at their choice, before the court of the place where they lived at the time the contract was concluded or the damaging event occurred, or before any other court with jurisdiction under the law.
